Currently, I freelance as a software architect in Cambridge, Massachusetts specializing in computer vision, machine learning, and algorithm design.
I received my Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming in 2013 under the supervision of Craig Douglas. I have visited the labs of Geoffrey Hinton at University of Toronto, and of Mubarak Shaw at the University of Central Florida. I obtained an M.Sc. degree in mathematics from the University of Wyoming in 2010.
I am interested in a variety of topics in machine learning and computer vision. Currently, I am working on deep learning architectures, learning embeddings, time series analysis, object classification, and network algorithms.
I enjoy posting original content touching a wide range of topics from design to programming.
